Default Eric Clapton Crossroads Festival 2010

It was a good blues injection the other night. High points for me: Buddy Guy, ZZ Top, Robert Cray, Steve Winwood playing with Clapton. Derek Trucks was pretty cool too.

Vince Gill played "Lay Down Sally"...decent rendition.

Overall, it was an enjoyable concert film - it'll satisfy my blues fix for a while too.

No doubt about that! He played with Ron Wood and Johnny Lang, and it was really one of the high points of the show. Why does Johnny Lang always look like he's straining to take a really painful shit?

Because he hates the fact that he sounds too mainstream. Or at least that's what I like to pretend.

That works. He didn't suck - he held his own pretty well considering who he was playing with.

BB King is in Vegas 8/16 & 17. May hit up the show on the 16th...depending how much money I squander beforehand...or win, as tix are rediculous. But his Bar/Restuarant looks pretty small. So it may be worth it.

I can't wait, I haven't see BB since I left Philly and let's face it, he's not going to have all that many more tours.

I'm hoping for some extra special guests. Everybody who plays the Hollywood Bowl has special guests.
