The Basics
We are all friends here. Therefore, we should treat everyone as we would expect to be treated and show respect at all times.
While freedom of speech is encouraged, the abuse and overuse of racist, homophobic, and/or crude language will not be tolerated. Obviously it is very difficult to determine at which point language must be censored, but this decision will be taken by the mods whenever they damn please.
If you have something hot/fucked up and want to post it (i.e. you're starting a new thread), it MUST go in Questionable Content. Anything that is not safe for work, but is being posted in response to a thread in any other forum must only be posted as a link and flagged NSFW. This applies to all areas of the site, including but not limited to profile visitor messages, PMs, etc.
Restrictions on posting NSFW content includes private messages (unless flagged accordingly in the TITLE), profile visitor messages, social groups and every other area of the site.
Using any HTML or JavaScript in any post which is deemed by the admins to be malicious or inappropriate will get you banned, and HTML will be disabled indefinitely.
Consequences
Posts can and will be edited. If a particular user's posts have to be moved to Questionable Content repeatedly, we may need to move onto consequences 2 and 3.
Image posting and attachments can and will be disabled in all forums aside from Questionable Content if rule 3 is not followed.
HTML will be disabled if rule 5 is broken. This will, among other things, stop you from embedding YouTube videos.
While it is not preferred, individual usernames/IPs can be deleted/banned.
Forum Quote Guidelines
- Forum Descriptions will be changed the first and third Sunday of the month
- When it's your turn, PM your picks to stubby and myself a few days before your day
- They can be quotes from movies, lyrics, lines from comedians/thinkers etc
- If stubby or myself think they suck/not work safe/etc we'll ask you to pick something else
- You need to send us a quote for every forum and the board's title
- If you want to just pick a movie and not specific quotes, that's cool. As long as stubby or myself have seen the flick we'll pick them
